  • The purpose of internal audit and how it supports management review (ISO 9001 clause 9.2)
  • The process approach and how to audit processes rather than just clauses
  • Planning an audit programme and an individual audit
  • Gathering objective evidence: interviewing, sampling and observation
  • Writing clear, factual nonconformities and positive findings
  • Reporting, corrective action follow-up and effectiveness checks
